Value Stream Mapping |

MMTC utilizes the Value Stream Mapping approach to help clients "learn to see" manufacturing processes as
a lean production system. Participants learn how to redesign manufacturing processes to maximize customer value while
minimizing non-value added activities. Participants create value stream maps, including developing a current state
value stream map, identifying waste areas, and creating a future state value stream map. A future state value stream
map describes the value stream after LEAN Manufacturing Principles and techniques have been applied.
